Melissa, cosmetologist since 2005, has returned to Plymouth as owner of Shear Talent!
Professional Vocalist performing in various music projects including - Female Lead Vocals in The Emergency Broadcast System - a Boston-based cover band!
Maintaining & growing her hair business in harmony with her music career, Melissa has become a booth renter at Crowning Glory-DBA -Shear Talent!
Salon hours and availability are subject to change, hers customers/friends/hair care comes first <3

You could say her hair career began as a child?..Melissa could be found using easter egg coloring kits on her Barbie dolls and giving herself bangs! :)
In high school, she was the friend who styled your hair for semi-formals and spirit week!
When everyone was college-bound, she knew Cosmetology School was her first choice!
She graduated Blaine Beauty Career School in March of 2005 and built her career from MasterCuts in Kingston 2005-07 and 2007-14 at Plymouth Waterfront's Karma Hair Salon.
She took a summer off from the hair industry to become a singer full-time in the band EBS.. but...
It wasn't long before her love for hair & her loving clientelle beckoned her back to the Salon!
March of 2016, celebrating her 11th year in the beauty industry, she began her business as a booth renter at Crowing Glory as -Shear Talent- maintaining her schedule as a full-time singing hairstylist & helping you to maintain the hairstyle you love!!
This business is ours and it cant flourish with out you!
